After many customer requests, TBS Electronics have decided to change the standard IEC320 AC socket to an EU standard Schuko version. This will apply to all TBS extruded enclosure inverters from 200W up to 800W. This migration will take place in the coming months, depending on the stock levels of IEC320 equipped models. Some models are already shipping with Schuko sockets. The entire migration should be finished before the end of this year.

Besides the standard installed Schuko sockets, we can now also offer Australian/New Zealand AC socket types on these TBS inverter models.

We are pleased to announce a new Balmar product that can reduce the cost of adding Balmar Multi-Stage alternator regulation by half.

Thanks to SmartReady Technology for Yanmar Engines equipped with Valeo Alternators, Yanmar owners can now add Balmar Smart Regulation without disposing of the Valeo 120A/12V Alternator.

A simple retrofit of the Valeo alternator converts the Valeo to accept Balmar’s famous Multi-Stage external regulators.
